Tom is our specialist rural consultant, growing up in a family farming enterprise and now managing his own family’s 8,500ha farming enterprise. Utilising his 30+ years of agricultural experience, he has worked with families and corporates in areas involving reporting, budgeting, financial management, benchmarking and best practice, including how each of these elements form part of an overall succession plan.
Tom has focused on the important issues that farming families face including:

Tom’s objective in working with family groups is to engage and mentor. He believes that poorly executed succession is potentially the most critical risk to family businesses. The goal is for industry-leading culture, financially successful enterprises and harmonious family units which involve family members who work both inside and outside the business.
